Kirk is a Principal and Co-head of Crow Holdings Capital – Investment Partners, which functions as an outsourced family investment office for a select group of Partner Families.
Since joining Crow Holdings Capital–Investment Partners in 2011, Mr. Rimer has played an integral role in building the firm’s investment strategy and expanding the firm’s partner base. Prior to joining CHC–Investment Partners, he spent 21 years at Goldman Sachs where he worked with individual investors and corporations, with a focus on risk management and equity investments. He served as Managing Director and Southwest Region Manager for the Private Wealth Management Division. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Kirk Rimer served nine years as a naval aviator for the United States Navy.
Kirk Rimer serves as Chairman of the Don Jackson Center for Financial Studies at Southern Methodist University, sits on the Executive Board for SMU’s Cox School of Business and is an Executive in Residence responsible for teaching the investment practicum within the Finance Department.
He is a trustee for Austin College in Sherman, Texas, a Director for the Baylor Health Care System Foundation, a Director of Goodwill Industries of Dallas, Inc. and a Director of Shatterproof, a national organization committed to ending the stigma and suffering of addiction.
Mr. Rimer received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri in 1980 and an MBA from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business in 1989.
